Initial Funding Options
Your initial deposit into your Flex bank account can be accomplished through either a Wire Transfer or an ACH (Automated Clearing House) push. After this first deposit, you'll also have the option to add funds via ACH pull using Plaid.
Via Wire Transfer
- Access Banking Features: Click 'Banking' in the left-hand navigation bar.
- Choose Your Account: Identify and select the checking account you wish to fund.
- Download Wire Details: Click 'Download' under 'Wire Details' to obtain a PDF with all necessary information for the wire transfer.
- Initiate Transfer from External Bank: Log in to your external bank account and start a wire transfer using the details from the downloaded PDF.
- Receiving Funds: Funds should be deposited into your checking account within one business day.
Via ACH Push
- Navigate to Banking: Click 'Banking' in the left-hand navigation bar.
- Select Your Account: Find the checking account you want to transfer funds into.
- View Account Information: Reveal your account details by clicking the eye icon next to your Account Number.
- Prepare Transfer Details: Copy your ACH Routing and Account Number for use in the transfer.
- Execute ACH Transfer: Log into your external bank account, start an ACH transfer using the copied details.
- Receiving Funds: Funds should be deposited into your checking account within three business days.
Post-Initial Funding via ACH Pull Using Plaid
- Access Banking Section: Select 'Banking' from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Go to External Accounts: Click on 'External Accounts'.
- Connect a Bank Account: Choose 'Connect a Bank Account'.
- Use Plaid to Link Accounts: Follow the prompts in the Plaid Modal to securely link your external bank account to your Flex account.
- View Linked Accounts: Linked external accounts will be visible under the 'External Accounts' section.
- Initiate Transfer: Select 'Transfer Funds', input the transfer amount, and designate the source and destination accounts.
- Confirm Transfer Details: Review all details of your transfer and click 'Transfer'.
- Receiving Funds: Funds should be deposited into your checking account within three business days.
